Zusammenfassung

Kutane Leishmaniasen sind infektiöse Erkrankungen der Haut, die in Deutschland zunehmend häufig diagnostiziert werden. Diagnostik und Therapie können sich aufgrund des variablen klinischen und histologischen Bildes und der Therapieresistenz als schwierig erweisen. In der vorliegenden Kasuistik berichten wir über eine Patientin, bei der eine über sechs Monate bestehende Leishmaniase topisch erfolgreich mit Paromomycin behandelt wurde.

Abstract

Cutaneous leishmaniasis is an infectious disease with increasing prevalence in Germany. Diagnosis and therapy may be difficult due to the variability of the clinical and histomorphological picture and resistance to therapy. In this case study we report on a female patient with a persistent cutaneous leishmaniasis successfully treated with topical administration of paromomycin.
