Zusammenfassung

Ein 56-jähriger Patient entwickelte innerhalb von 6 Monaten eine zunehmende Hyperpigmentierung des gesamten Integuments bei ansonsten völliger Beschwerdefreiheit . Klinisch fiel zusätzlich intertriginös und nuchal eine Vergröberung des Hautreliefs und eine Papillomatose auf. Die histologischen, laborchemischen und apparativen Untersuchungen bestätigten das Vorliegen sowohl einer hereditären Hämochromatose als auch eines Adenokarzinoms des Magens. Die gleichzeitige Manifestation einer generalisierten Hyperpigmentierung als Folge einer Hämochromatose sowie einer Acanthosis nigricans maligna als Paraneoplasie bei Magenkarzinom ist ungewöhnlich.

Abstract

A 56-year-old previously healthy man developed hyperpigmentation of the entire skin over the previous 6 months without any other signs of further impairment. Additionally, we found accentuated skin lines of the neck and intertriginous sites as well as cutaneous papillomatosis. Histological examinations, laboratory tests and technical diagnostics revealed the existence of both hereditary hemochromatosis and adenocarcinoma of the stomach. Simultaneous manifestation of hyperpigmentation as a result of hemochromatosis as well as malignant acanthosis nigricans as a paraneoplastic symptom in gastric cancer is very rare.
