Zusammenfassung

Das Basalzellkarzinom stellt die häufigste Neoplasie der Haut dar und zeichnet sich durch seine zahlreichen klinischen und histologischen Varianten aus. Wir berichten über einen 58-jährigen Patienten mit der sehr seltenen Variante eines polypoiden Basalzellkarzinoms, das klinisch durch exophytisches und gestieltes Wachstum gekennzeichnet ist und sich histologisch auf die Aggregation von Tumorzellen im polypoiden Teil des Tumors beschränkt.

Abstract

Basal cell carcinoma, the most common malignant neoplasm of the skin, has many clinical and histologic variants. We report about a 58-year-old patient with a rarely described, polypoid variant of this tumor. Polypoid basal cell carcinoma differs clinically from other variants by being exophytic and pedunculated and, histologically, the tumor aggregations are restricted only to the polypoid part.
