Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über eine 75-jährige Patientin mit einer ausgedehnten Congelatio bullosa aufgrund unsachgemäßer Anwendung von Kühlaggregaten zur Schmerzlinderung. Die Diagnose einer Congelatio ist in der Regel einfach zu stellen. Entscheidend ist jedoch, das Ausmaß der Gewebeschädigung zu bestimmen und Sofortmaßnahmen einzuleiten, um schwere Komplikationen zu verhindern.

Abstract

A 75-year-old woman developed severe Congelatio bullosa caused by therapeutic use of cold packs to ease non-specific pain. Cold injury is usually diagnosed easily. It is important to determine the extent of tissue damage and institute emergency care in order to prevent severe complications.
