Heparinassoziierte Thrombocytopenie (HAT) Typ II Eine unterschätzte Komplikation der Thromboembolieprophylaxe mit Heparin

Summary.

We report four patients who developed heparin-associated thrombocytopenia (HAT) under heparin prophylaxis. One patient showed no clinical signs, but three had severe complications (white-clot syndrome, acute adrenal failure and loss of limb because of thromboembolic complication), leading to death in two cases.

Zusammenfassung.

Wir berichten über 4 Patienten, die unter der Thromboembolieprophylaxe mit Heparin eine heparinassoziierte Thrombocytopenie (HAT) entwickelten. Während ein Patient lediglich laborchemische Veränderungen ohne klinische Symptomatik zeigte, kam es bei den anderen Patienten zu schwerwiegenden Komplikationen („white-clot syndrome“, Gefäßverschlüsse mit NNR-Apoplexie bzw. Extremitätenverlust), die in 2 Fällen sogar letal endeten.
