Zusammenfassung
Die Eigenschaften von Phytopharmaka werden durch den gesamten Herstellungsprozess von der Ausgangsdroge über den arzneilich wirksamen Bestandteil bis hin zum Fertigarzneimittel sowie über die Festlegung bestimmter Spezifikationen für die Ausgangsdroge, den arzneilich wirksamen Bestandteil und das Fertigprodukt bestimmt. Grundlage für die Beurteilung der Qualität von Phytopharmaka sind EU-Direktiven und EU-Leitlinien, nationale Gesetze, Bestimmungen und Verordnungen und der darüber hinausgehende aktuelle Stand der wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnis.
Abstract
Properties of herbal medicinal products are defined by the manufacturing process including agricultural production and by definition of suitable specifications for medicinal plants, herbal drugs, herbal substances, and the finished product. Evaluation of the quality of herbal medicinal products is based on EU directives and EU guidelines, national laws, regulations, decrees, and the most recent state of science.
