Zweitlinientherapie mit Durvalumab auf dem Prüfstand

Für Patienten mit einem lokal fortgeschrittenen oder metastasierten Urothelkarzinom kann nach Versagen der Erstlinien-Chemotherapie eine Zweitlinientherapie mit Chemotherapeutika angeboten werden. Die Auswahl an leitlinienkonformen Behandlungsoptionen in dieser Indikation ist allerdings noch begrenzt. Nun soll der Nutzen des Checkpointinhibitors Durvalumab als Monotherapie geprüft werden.
