Catheter-guided Repair of Traumatic Lower Limb Arteriovenous Fistula

Abstract

Traumatic lower limb arteriovenous fistulae represent a considerable challenge to the operating surgeon. Here, we describe a combined radiological and surgical approach that minimizes dissection of traumatized tissue and facilitates intra-arterial control of inadvertent hemorrhage.
