Bei einem Delir kommt es zu einer akuten Funktionsstörung des Gehirns. Meist tritt es im Kontext einer Krankenhausbehandlung als Komorbidität auf, wird aber vor allem in somatischen Krankenhäusern häufig übersehen. Pflegende haben hier eine besondere Verantwortung.
