Zusammenfassung

Die Diabetestherapie orientiert sich an der vorliegenden Form der Erkrankung. Während Typ-1-Diabetiker immer mit Insulin behandelt werden, kommen Typ-2-Diabetiker meist lange Zeit mit oralen medikamentösen Therapieformen aus. Maßstab für alle Patienten aber ist eine möglichst normnahe Blutzucker-Einstellung.
