Druckgeschwüre beschäftigen nach wie vor Pflegekräfte, Mediziner, Pflegewissenschaftler und natürlich Betroffene gleichermaßen. Obwohl der Nationale Expertenstandard Dekubitusprophylaxe die Rahmenbedingungen für ein Dekubitusmanagement eindeutig beschreibt, klaffen Notwendigkeit einer Dekubitusprophylaxe und -therapie und die reale Umsetzung häufig immer noch auseinander.
