Time is brain — In Deutschland erleiden täglich etwa 550 Menschen einen Schlaganfall. Eine halbe Million Menschen müssen mit den Folgen der Erkrankung leben. Um das Auftreten eines Schlaganfalls und seiner Folgen zu minimieren sind eine optimale Vorsorge, Akutbehandlung und Nachsorge der Betroffenen erforderlich.
