Mucocele on the Lower Lip—a Case Report

Mukozele an der Unterlippe—ein Fallbericht

Abstract.

A patient with a superficial oral mucocele on the lower lip is presented. The lesion developed in temporal relationship with the insertion of a functional appliance. The etiology and pathogenesis of this lesion are discussed.

Zusammenfassung.

Vorgestellt wird ein Fallbericht einer oberflächlichen Mukozele, lokalisiert an der unteren Lippe. Die Läsion bildete sich in zeitlichem Zusammenhang mit dem Einsetzen eines funktionskieferorthopädischen Gerätes. Der Fallbericht beschreibt die Ätiologie und die Pathogenese dieser Läsion.
