Eine Facharztpraxis mit koloproktologischem Schwerpunkt ist eine attraktive Alternative zum Klinikalltag. Anhand eigener Erfahrungen und unterschiedlicher strategischer Überlegungen wird eine grobe Übersicht über die verschiedenen Praxisformen dargelegt sowie Vor- und Nachteile betrachtet, unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der in den letzten Jahren stetig steigenden Zahlen von Zulassungen Medizinischer Versorgungszentren (MVZ). Nach einer statistischen Erhebung der Kassenärztlichen Bundesvereinigung (KBV) zum Stichtag 31.12.2021 waren bei 4179 MVZ-Zulassungen 25.754 ÄrztInnen dort beschäftigt, 24.078 im Anstellungsverhältnis und 1676 als VertragsärztInnen. Doch die Einzelpraxis hat nach Analyse verschiedener Institute vor allem bei Facharztpraxen nicht an Attraktivität verloren und ist nach wie vor mit ca. 61 % der Existenzgründungen die häufigste Praxisform. Ebenfalls unverändert bleibt der ärztliche Existenzgründungsmarkt ein Übernahmemarkt.

Abstract

A medical specialist practice with a focus on coloproctology is an attractive alternative to the daily routine in a hospital. Based on own experiences and different strategic considerations, a rough overview of the different practice forms is presented, the advantages and disadvantages are considered with special consideration of the steadily increasing numbers of authorized medical care centers (MVZ) in recent years. According to a statistical survey of the Federal Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV), on 31 December 2021 there were 4179 registered medical healthcare centers (MVZ) with 25,754 physicians, of whom 24,078 were working as employees and 1676 as physicians accredited for statutory health insurance; however, according to the analysis of various institutes, the individual practice has not lost its attractiveness, especially among specialists and is still the most common form of practice, accounting for about 61% of start-ups. The medical start-up market also remains unchanged as a takeover market.
