Ilona Kickbusch is the Director of the Global Health Programme at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She advises organisations, government agencies and the private sector on policies and strategies to promote health at the national, European and global level. She serves as senior health policy advisor to the Swiss Federal Office for Public Health. She has a distinguished career with the World Health Organization and Yale University. Her research interest is in health and modernity and global health governance.
