Annals of Combinatorics has a new cover, and that is not the only change you will notice. This is the first issue with a new team of Editors-in-Chief, and with a substantially different Editorial Board.

We are honored and excited to be taking over. We are also feeling thankful. First and foremost, we would like to thank Bill Chen, the founding editor, as well as George Andrews and Peter Paule, for the wonderful work they did in creating and running the journal until now. We are also grateful to the members of the previous Editorial Board, both those who decided to retire together with Bill, George, and Peter, and to those who are staying on. We also thank and welcome the new members of the Editorial Board.

Of course, a journal would not be possible without the authors who have so many choices to submit their work, and we are always happy when they choose Annals of Combinatorics. We are grateful to the referees, who do the hard and anonymous work of helping us choose the very best submissions for publication. And finally, we would like to express our gratitude to Birkhäuser for giving us this opportunity, and to the staff for their kindness and support.

You will notice that the journal has new aims and scope. Papers should be submitted to one of the three tracks: Algebraic Combinatorics; Analytic and Algorithmic Combinatorics; or Graphs and Matroids. We hope that the changes will attract new readers and new authors, as well as keep the old ones happy.

Sincerely,

Kolja Knauer, Matjaž Konvalinka, Marni Mishna
