Some Sufficient Conditions for a Function to be \(\varvec{p}\)-Valent Starlike or Convex

Abstract

In this article, we employ the expressions \( \frac{f'(z)}{z^{p-1}}-(p-\lambda )\frac{f(z)}{z^{p}}\) and \(\frac{1}{ p}\frac{f''(z)}{z^{p-2}}-(1-\frac{\lambda +1}{p})\frac{ f'(z)}{z^{p-1}}\), \({\small 0<\lambda \le p}\) to obtain some simple sufficient conditions for p-valent starlikeness and convexity. The main object of this article is to present some interesting applications of these sufficiency criteria.
