Abstract.

We consider a two dimensional free boundary problem for an inviscid, incompressible and irrotational fluid. Imbedded in the fluid is a gas bubble of prescribed shape. Given some initial configuration we investigate the long time evolution of the potential flow. We prove existence, uniqueness and regularity of a solution.
