Monica Musso is a Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Bath since February 2018. Her previous positions were at the Department of Mathematics in the Universidad Catolica de Chile (since 2004, as professor since 2012) and at the Politecnico di Torino (since 1999, as Ricercatore in a permanent position). She obtained a PhD in Mathematics in 1997 from the Universita’ di Pisa and she was a postdoctoral researcher in the Intenational School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste during 1998.

She works in the area of Nonlinear Analysis and Partial Differential Equations. Some of the topics she is interested in are singularity formation in elliptic and parabolic equations, concentration phenomena in critical problems, and the fractional Yamabe problem.
