Summary.

This paper continues the study of pointed redundancy of the conditional Cauchy equation of the cylindrical type. In classifying those groups G that contain a subgroup S such that (S,G,G) is pointedly redundant, this paper also slightly improves upon the classification of those groups G that contain a subgroup S such that (S,G,G) is redundant. From an algebraic perspective, this paper gives three classes of groups G that contain a subgroup S such that every automorphism of S can be extended to |S| different automorphisms of G.
