Zusammenfassung

Die Verletzungen des Schultergürtels können als isolierte Verletzungen oder auch als Komplexverletzungen gesehen werden. Die Definition der isolierten Verletzung ist eindeutig definiert, es liegt ein pathomorphologisches Substrat an einer topographischen, anatomischen Stelle vor. Die Umgebung ist in aller Regel bezüglich wichtiger Strukturen nicht beteiligt, abgesehen von Hämatomen oder Schwellungen. Bei Komplexverletzungen bedarf es der Definition. In aller Regel sind mehrere topographische Regionen betroffen, es können aber auch an einer topographischen Region mehrere pathomorphologische Substrate vorliegen. Eine Komplexverletzung besteht auch dann, wenn in einer topographischen Region mehrere verschiedene anatomische Strukturen betroffen sind.

Abstract

Injuries to the shoulder girdle can be regarded as isolated or as complex injuries. The definition of the isolated injury is unequivocal: there is a pathomorphological substrate at a single topographic anatomical location. Important structures in the surrounding area are generally not involved, except for haematomas or swellings. In the case of complex injuries definition is needed. As a rule, several topographic regions are affected, but it can be that several pathomorphological substrates in a single topographic region are affected. A complex injury is also present when several different anatomical structures in a single topographic region are affected.
