Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, einen Überblick über die Möglichkeiten der kurativen Radiotherapie bei frühen und fortgeschrittenen Stadien des Prostatakarzinoms zu geben. Es soll dabei auch die interstitielle Radiotherapie vorgestellt werden. Die Einsatzmöglichkeiten der Strahlentherapie zur Palliation im metastasierten Stadium werden kurz aufgezeigt.
