Bis(trimethylsilyl)chromat, dargestellt aus Chromsäureanhydrid und Hexamethyldisiloxan in Dichlormethan, wurde an Montmorillonit K10 adsorbiert. Mit diesem Reagens werden unterschiedliche Alkohole in sehr guten Ausbeuten zu den entsprechenden Carbonylverbindungen oxidiert..
