The syntheses, properties, and chemical shifts of the heterometal gold(I) complexes FcNAuċP(C6H4Cl-4)3 (1), FcN′[AuċPPh3]2 (2), and Fc′[AuċPPh3]2 (3) are reported. The electrochemical behaviour of complexes 1 and 3 is compared with that of the related platinum derivatives (FcN)2Pt (4) and FcNPtClċPPh3 (5).
