Voraussetzung ist die Kenntnis von Epidemiologie, Ätiologie und typischer Lokalisation der Veränderungen, die ein differenziertes diagnostisches und therapeutisches Vorgehen ermöglicht.-->

Summary

Compared with other genital carcinomas, the chances of early diagnosis are particularly favourable in the case of carcinoma of the cervix, or at least of its precancerous and early cancerous stages, providing always that there is adequate knowledge of the epidemiology, aetiology and typical localization of the changes, which alone allows an informed diagnosis and selection of a suitable therapeutic procedure.-->
