Das AdV-Projekt ATKIS-Generalisierung, Teilprojekt Modellgeneralisierung

Zusammenfassung

Nach dem flächendeckenden Aufbau des „Amtlichen Topographisch-Kartographischen Informationssystems“ (ATKIS) durch die Länder kam einer möglichst vollautomatischen Ableitung der Digitalen Topographischen Karten (DTK) aus den Datenbeständen des Digitalen Landschaftsmodells (DLM) immer größere Bedeutung zu. Aus diesem Grund wurde von der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Vermessungsverwaltungen der Länder der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (AdV) das Projekt „ATKIS-Generalisierung“ initiiert. Ziel des Gesamtprojekts ist die Entwicklung eines Programmsystems, das aus dem Basis-DLM programmgesteuert die Produktion des Digitalen Landschaftsmodells 50 (ATKIS-DLM50) und der Topographischen Karte 1:50 000 (DTK50) realisiert. Derzeit arbeiten sieben Bundesländer gemeinsam an der Lösung dieser Aufgabenstellung. Das erste Teilprojekt „ATKIS-Modellgeneralisierung“ konnte im Mai 2005 erfolgreich abgeschlossen werden.

Abstract

After the installation of the „Authoritative Topographic-Cartographic Information System“ (ATKIS) by the Länder covering them all, the automatic derivation of the digital topographic maps (DTK) from the database of the digital landscape models (DLM) was gaining an increasing importance. For that reason the “Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Vermessungsverwaltungen of the German Länder” (AdV) has developed the project „ATKIS-Generalisation“. The aim of this project is the development of a system to generate out off the Base-DLM the production of the Digital Landscape Model 50 (ATKIS-DLM50) and the Digital Topographical Map 1:50.000 (DTK50) by using a program command. Presently seven German Länder are working together for a solution. In May (2005) the first part of this project the ATKIS-Model Generalisation was finished successfully.
