FMC Paradise Peak — an update

Abstract

The paper presents an update of the Paradise Peak mill after the first year of operation. Process revisions, equipment modifications and additions, and personnel requirements are discussed with a comparison to original design. All areas of milling are discussed including crushing, grinding, leach/ counter current decantation (CCD), precipitation, refinery, and heap leach.
