Heidi Smith, PhD., is a lecturer of outdoor education and teacher education at the University of Tasmania. She completed doctoral research exploring extraordinary outdoor leadership at the University of Wollongong. Prior to being involved in teacher education, Heidi worked in a variety of contexts as an outdoor educator and leader. Her other research interests include teacher education, teaching partnerships and praxis development.
