Abstract
A retrospective survey of 517 patients seen by PG-1 residents in a psychiatric walk-in clinic was performed; significant differences are reported in diagnosis given and referrals made between black and white residents. These differences are discussed in terms of the staff’s perception of attitudinal differences between these two groups of residents.
