Abstract
Psychiatric residency programs differ from medical-surgical training programs in content, trainee selection criteria as well as trainee performance evaluation. This study seeks to determine whether an objective measure such as the MMPI can be utilized to lessen subjectivity in the selection of trainees for psychiatric residency programs.
