Abstract

Techniques of functional analysis have been applied by a number of authors to tackle a variety of linear control systems. In this paper a class of optimal control problems has been formulated in linear topological spaces. Some necessary and sufficient conditions regarding the existence and uniqueness of solutions have been obtained. Fundamental tools of functional analysis are used to solve the problem.
