Abstract

The roving AIME membership continues to provide the Journal of Metals with reports from the USSR. This time John J. Gilman of General Electric Research Laboratory tells of a recent international conference on “The Mechanical Properties of Non-metallic Solids” which took place in the city by the Neva.
