Abstract

Preliminary results secured with a novel reactor for contacting hot metal with gaseous oxygen. Sufficient data have not been obtained to present a complete picture of the effect of all the variables nor to evaluate the process as a commercial tool, but results obtained are of sufficient theoretical and practical interest to present at this time.
