Kalling-Domnarfvet Process at Surahammar Works

Abstract

An account is given of the way in which a new process for desulphurization of hot metal is carried out at a Swedish blast-furnace plant. In the, process powdered burnt lime is used as a desulphurizing agent in a rotary furnace. Results are given.
