Abstract
The ability of the pigeon to discriminate color is noted and attention is drawn to the possibility of utilizing the drinking response as a unique and simple measure of color preference. Preliminary study indicates definite preferences when this method is employed, evidenced by the observed preference for blue over green and red in the present investigation.
