Die Erfahrungen von Li Fuyu mit der bei Toxischem (du) ansetzenden Behandlung von Arthritis urica

Zusammenfassung

Die Autoren fassen in ihrem Artikel die Erfahrungen des Altarztes Professor Li Fuyu mit der Behandlung von Arthritis urica zusammen, wobei der Schwerpunkt seiner Therapie auf dem Herauslösen von Toxischem (du) liegt. Seiner Meinung nach ist Arthritis urica vor allem darauf zurückzuführen, dass im Inneren toxisches humor-Trübes („Feuchtigkeit“-Trübes, shizhuo) hervorgebracht wird; die verschiedenen möglichen Ursachen dafür werden im Text erläutert. Je nach vorliegendem Krankheitsbild setzt Prof. Li unterschiedliche Formen der Methode „Ausleiten von humor (‚Feuchtigkeit‘, shi), Herauslösen von Toxischem (du) und Ausleiten von Trübem (zhuo)” ein. Für jede der sechs Varianten wird der Pathomechanismus geschildert, zu dem sie passt, die jeweiligen Symptome werden beschrieben, und es wird die einzusetzende Rezeptur genannt. Die Ausführungen werden abschließend anhand eines kurzen Fallbeispiels illustriert.

Abstract

In their article the authors summarize the experience of the senior physician Prof. Li Fuyu in his treatment of Arthritis urica (gout) in which the main emphasis of therapy is on the removal of toxins (du). In the professor’s opinion, Arthritis urica is attributable above all to the production of toxic, turbid dampness (humor, shizhuo) inside the body; the various possible causes for this are explained in the text. Depending on the nature of the disorder present, Prof. Li uses different forms of the method for “eliminating dampness (humor, shi), removal of toxins (du) and eliminating the turbid (zhuo)”. The authors explain the pathological mechanisms corresponding to each of the six variants, they describe the accompanying symptoms, and they give the formula to be used. The article concludes with an illustration based on a brief case study.
