Alloy and dispersion strengthening by powder metallurgy

Abstract

The feasibility of producing tungsten, iron and nickel base alloys with or without a dispersal phase using elemental powders and standard powder metallurgical techniques has been established. Potential areas for further development as well as expected problem areas for such powder metallurgy alloys are also reviewed.
