Zusammenfassung

Wer einen sonst gesunden Patienten vor einer Operation gründlich untersucht und eine ausführliche Anamnese erhebt, handelt leitliniengerecht. Nur wenn schon im Vorfeld gesundheitliche Risiken bestehen, sind weitere Tests und ggf. eine Umstellung der Medikation erforderlich. Doch viele Kliniken gehen auf Nummer sicher: Sie fordern standardmäßig zusätzlich ein EKG, Gerinnungswerte oder einen Röntgenthorax.
