Abstract
Given the increasing prevalence of atopic diseases, the authors aimed to determine the level of knowledge about the pathogenesis, therapy, and prevention of these diseases among teachers in nursery schools in Schleswig-Holstein. A total of 186 completed questionnaires was analyzed descriptively, and the influence of age, professional experience, education, and personal — i. e. family — history of atopic diseases on the overall result was investigated.
