Zusammenfassung

Die meisten Harnsteinpatienten präsentieren sich mit einer akuten Nierenkolik. Die Entscheidung für das weitere Vorgehen muss daher rasch fallen: Was gibt man gegen die Schmerzen? Ist eine Harnableitung erforderlich? Wie lässt sich klären, ob der Stein spontan abgangsfähig ist? und mittelfristig: Wie beugt man der erneuten Konkrementbildung effektiv vor?
