Zusammenfassung

Ein unklarer Leberherd im Ultraschall: So ein Zufallsbefund kann in der weiteren Abklärung einiges Kopfzerbrechen bereiten, v. a. wenn Malignitätsverdacht besteht. Veranlassen Sie insbesondere bei jün- geren Patienten nicht voreilig ein CT oder eine Biopsie; ein kontrast- mittelverstärkter Ultraschall oder eine MRT führt in vielen Fällen auch ohne Strahlenbelastung und nicht invasiv zur Diagnose.
