Zusammenfassung

Ob Mitralklappeninsuffizienz oder schwierige Antikoagulation bei Vorhofflimmern: Bereits etablierte Therapien könnten die Probleme lösen, sind bei sehr alten Patienten aber oft nicht mehr realisierbar. Deshalb wurden weniger belastende Eingriffe entwickelt, um die Mitralklappe zu rekonstruieren und das Vorhofohr zu verschließen.
