Zusammenfassung

Die Aortenklappenstenose ist eine häufige Erkrankung des hohen Alters. Der Klappenersatz mittels Kathetertechnik ist für betagte und komorbide Patienten eine Alternative zum konventionellen herzchirugischen Klappenersatz. Für inoperable Patienten ist er die einzige Möglichkeit, Lebenserwütung und Lebensqualität zu verbessern.
