Zusammenfassung
Die Diagnose einer akuten Borreliose wird primär anhand der Symptomatik (Erythema migrans) und der Anamnese (Zeckenbiss) gestellt. Bei klarer Symptomatik und Anamnese wird die notwendige Therapie eingeleitet, ein Borrelien-Test ist verzichtbar. Je unklarer das Bild und je länger die Infektion dauert, desto mehr Bedeutung gewinnt die serologische Diagnostik.
