Leberwerte über der Norm sind häufig. Ob sie einer weiteren Abklärung bedürfen, muss im Kontext mit der klinischen Präsentation entschieden werden. Bei asymptomatischen Personen treten Transaminasenerhöhungen meist infolge von erhöhtem Alkoholkonsum und Medikamenteneinnahmen auf.
