Bei Patienten mit mittelschwerem und schwerem Asthma bronchiale reduziert die bronchiale Thermoplastie die Häufigkeit von Asthmaexazerbationen, verbessert den Peak-Flow, vermehrt die symptomfreien Tage und steigert die Lebensqualität.
