Zusammenfassung

Ein Problem, das in der Praxis oft nicht genug beachtet wird: Jeder vierte ältere Patient leidet unter Schmerzen. In Deutschland gibt es schätzungsweise acht Millionen chronisch Schmerzkranke–davon sind drei Millionen über 65 Jahre alt. Bei ihnen ist die Schmerztherapie eine besondere Herausforderung.
