Die WHO definiert die Adoleszenz als Zeitraum vom 10.–20. Lebensjahr. Im vorliegenden Beitrag wird ein überblick über die weibliche Entwicklung während der Adoleszenz gegeben. Außerdem werden Normavarianten und relevante Entwicklungsstörungen aufgezeigt.
