Zusammenfassung

Die Zahl von Kindern und Jugendlichen, die mit einer Insulinpumpe behandelt werden, nimmt kontinuierlich zu. Dies liegt sicher daran, dass die Handhabung für Patient und Familie sehr praktikabel ist. Die Insulingabe kann damit am physiologischsten der natürlichen Insulinsekretion nachempfunden werden.
