Zusammenfassung
B-Zellen sind wesentlich an der Entwicklung allergischer Immunreaktionen vom Typ I beteiligt. Die molekularen Vorgänge bei der Produktion der für allergische Erkrankungen wichtigen Immunglobuline der Klassen IgE und IgG4 werden dargestellt, insbesondere der Antikörperklassenwechsel und die IgE-Regulation. Die Ausführungen sollen Hinweise zum Verständnis innovativer Ansatzpunkte zur Beeinflussung IgE-abhängiger Erkrankungen bieten.
Summary
B cells play an important role in the development of type I allergic reactions. The molecular mechanisms of the production of the immunoglobulins IgE and IgG4 are discussed, focussing on the description of the isotype switching process and the molecules involved into IgE-regulation. This review shall give an insight into new therapeutical approaches to the treatment of IgE-dependent diseases.
